The Forum of Senior Special Assistants to the Governor of the State of Osun felicitates with Muslims in the State on the successful completion of the 1443 AH Ramadan Fasting (Eid-il-Fitri).
In the goodwill message signed by the Cordinator of the Forum, Engr. Kolawole Anwo, the Forum praised Muslim faithful for their total submission and steadfastness during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
“On behalf of Members of the SSA Forum, I congratulate Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast. I salute you all for the total submission, dedication and steadfastness exhibited during the holy month of Ramadan.”
Congratulating Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-fitri, Kolawole said the celebration could only be better rewarded if the teachings, lessons and dictates of Ramadan are maintained and respected after the Holy Month.
Kolawole described Islam as a religion that upholds the spirit of love, peace and charity and preach harmonious living relationship with other religions adherents.
He commended the Muslim community in Osun for supporting the administration of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola and for being good citizens.
While lauding the developmental strides of Mr. Governor who has been stirring the affairs of the state successfully for over 730 days, Kolawole also called on the people of the State to continue to support and pray for the Oyetola administration.
“We appreciate you all for the unflinching support for this administration and we are using this opportunity to solicit for more support and prayers for Mr Governor and this administration at large.”
He urged Muslims to expand the spiritual benefits of Ramadan by ensuring and promoting peaceful co-existence with each other and peoples of other faiths and shun violence and religious conflicts in whatever form they may manifest.
