Reno Omokri has delivered a cautionary message on his X page, urging individuals to exercise restraint and maintain discretion when sharing personal information on social media.
According to Omokri, many people wrongly attribute their challenges to external forces, such as bad luck or perceived enemies, without acknowledging the role their own actions may play.
He stressed that oversharing private details online, including information about job interviews or personal plans, can lead to unintended consequences, such as sabotage by adversaries.
Omokri emphasized that a lack of privacy often turns individuals into their own greatest obstacles:
“You don’t have a snitch in your circle. The reason your enemies know your plans is because you constantly update them via your social media posts. You get an invite for a job interview and post it with all the details, and they send damaging emails about you to the company. Your so-called ‘bad luck’ is not the result of village people. It is the consequence of your village habit of not keeping details of your life away from the public. You are your own snitch!
The message serves as a reminder to prioritize discretion and avoid unnecessary exposure in the digital age.
