Film star, Dakore Egbuson-Akande has clinched a new endorsement deal with Samsung Nigeria.
Egbuson-Akande was recently unveiled as the electronic brand’s ambassador.
Dakore, it was gathered, will be working closely with the brand to use her star power in raising awareness for Samsung consumer electronics products and ultimately contribute to making Samsung the preferred brand in the West Africa sub-region.
Dakore said she was delighted to be chosen as an ambassador by the electronics giant.
“Samsung is one of the biggest brands in the world and I am thrilled to be working with them at this stage in my career.
“This partnership is a mutually beneficial relationship which I will hold dearly,” she adding “Samsung is a brand that is well-respected all over the world for its reliable and durable products, which made it very easy for me to accept the offer of being an ambassador for the consumer products division of the company.”
Speaking on the move, Danny Kim, Managing Director, Samsung Nigeria, said Dakore represents the values that Samsung has stood for over the years.
“The Samsung brand stands for quality, innovation, change, discovery, self-expression, and performance excellence. These very same qualities are exemplified by Dakore whose quality and depth of work as well as versatility as an artist has endeared her to Nigerians today. We are indeed very proud and privileged to have her as our brand ambassador,” Kim said.
