The Police have arrested three suspects involved in the kidnap of 136 students of Bethel Baptist School, Kaduna.
Adamu Bello, Isiaku Lawal and Muazu Abubakar, disclosed this in Abuja on Thursday.
He said that 25 gang members carried out the abduction, adding that they were motivated by their desperate need for money.
The suspects, who were dressed in military camouflage, were paraded by the Force Public Relations Officers, Frank Mba, at the headquarters of the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad, in Abuja.
“Twenty-five of us carried out the operation. We kidnapped 136 students and I got N100,000 share from the money (ransom),” Abubakar stated.
